ANDRIY KOLOMIYETS

A participant of the Euromaidan revolution, he was arrested in Russia’s Kabardino-Balkariya region, where he was living together with civil wife Galyna Zelikhanova. He was accused of “attempting to murder” Berkut police officers during the Euromaidan protests in 2014, even though this episode, even if true, apriori does not fall into the jurisdiction of a Russian court. Andriy was sentenced by a Crimean judge, who is accused of collaborationism in Ukraine. Despite the announced sentence, Galyna is attempting to officially register her marriage with the Ukrainian political prisoner.
